Our faith in Jesus Christ is central to why and how we do what we do. We are motivated by the unconditional love of Christ to love and serve people who are poor, oppressed and vulnerable. We serve children and families irrespective of their religious beliefs.
We believe that all people are made in the image of God and created to experience fullness of life in Him. We see the face of Jesus in each person we have the privilege of serving and are guided by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:40: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” We do not just see people as “poor”, but as gifted sons and daughters of God simply needing an opportunity to draw out their gifts and talents.
We partner with churches out of the conviction that the global church is the primary agent for bringing love, peace and reconciliation to a broken world. We partner with the local and global church to fulfill our mission and help empower the church in their call to serve the poor.
