Due to government regulations, we accommodated for COVID-19 restrictions with students seated at their own desks, wearing masks, and special hand washing stations placed throughout the school. We are thankful we had the funds to cover these updates, as there were many schools in Kenya that were unable to open due to the financial strain this placed on them.

After nine months out of the classroom, school is back in session! We are so excited our students can be with us again. However, although school is reopened, this year will still present new challenges to our students and teachers. The government has implemented a plan to catch schools up with the year they missed.

On the way to our annual Senior Leadership hike last December, the bus got stuck midway to the campsite. The seniors all had to get out of the bus and attempt to push it out of the mud, but even with the force of the entire graduating class behind it, the bus would not budge.
