Our Community Sustainability leadership team began their research on new products that they could introduce into the Kenyan market place and worked hard on making some samples. During the months of March and April, they worked to develop new products using African fabric. The idea is to create simple designs that they can begin to market online to Kenyans.
Some of the products that they are working on are a lady’s dress and a men’s shirt. In addition, they are also working on ladies’ shoes and matching purses. The initial samples are currently in the process of being improved for a better fit and quality of finishing.
Our Kenyan team has also produced 2 short commercials to market our Pad Pouches in Kenya. These pouches are quality, small, discreet purses, in which women can store their sanitary pads. All our products are produced, in part by some of our trained parents, who through their earnings for their work, are able to provide for their families.
When you give to eduKenya, you enable us to offer training to our parents, who gain important marketable skills that enable them to enjoy the dignity of hard work and economic stability for their families.
