“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11, NIV
Esther Makori, a Chelezo High School 10th Grader, performed her “Alto Solo Voice” song at the 94th Kenya Music Festival at the end of September. This year a total of 89,000 participants and 9,000 teachers from Early Childhood Educational Institutions, Special Needs Centers, Primary Schools, High Schools, Universities and Teacher Training Colleges participated in the numerous events leading up to the finals held at the Maseno University in Kisumu County.
As mentioned in last week's prayer update, Esther made us proud as she placed 2nd out of 14 finalists gathered from the entire country in her performance category.
Thank you for your support of Esther and all our Mawewa and Chelezo School gifted students. We are grateful for the opportunity to nurture their various talents for God’s glory.
