Our new Form One students officially reported to school on January 16th, accompanied by their parents and guardians. Our Principal, Mrs Wambua, and her deputy, Mr. Makokha, supervised inspection of the new student's luggage, ensuring that the students had all their requirements as per the list that had been shared in their admission package. Once all the students had completed their registration, they attended a special ‘Welcome’ assembly with their parents where Mrs. Wambua introduced her team of teachers and the subjects they would be teaching.
After the assembly and a special lunch, our parents said their goodbyes to their new high schoolers. Our new Form 1 students attended another special assembly joining the rest of our student body in the evening. At this meeting our Principal welcomed all our students and invited our student leader, Rune Otuoma, to welcome the new students. Following their first full day, our new students spent the next three days undergoing our vigorous orientation process learning about the history of eduKenya and Chelezo High School. They delved deeply into eduKenya’s mission, vision, core values, and transformation milestones.
Our Chelezo High School teachers, staff and students are excited to welcome our new students and look forward to sharing with them the knowledge, skills and values that have given our school a positive culture of perseverance and Christ-centered excellence. It's our prayer and hope that before they graduate in 2027 and move on to whatever God has in store for them, that they would be equipped with knowledge and skills, transformed in character, to make a difference in their future spheres of influence. Please join us in praying for all of our new students in the year ahead.
