Good Fruit
Good Fruit

When our youngest students first join us, we strive to gently engage them through a creative and robust educational experience as they begin their academic journey. These lessons build numerous academic skills over time, with the hope of eventually graduating a well-equipped, teachable young adult, who can continue to master various new skills over a lifetime.

Through the day to day educational activities, fun annual events, special occasions, and sometimes extremely challenging academic and social backdrop, we constantly have to keep front and center our vision that “[a]ll children and their families in Mathare experience fullness of life, through Christ-centered spiritual, social and economic transformation.”

As we work towards breaking the cycle of poverty in Mathare, our resolve is renewed whenever we see the good fruit that has resulted from the years of sometimes seemingly mundane tasks, leading to more complex skills, that were taught and elaborated over time through the hard work of our teachers and staff, and honed and developed through the self discipline and motivation of our students.

Tony Mulongo (Chelezo Class of 2019), Financial Economics, Strathmore Institute of Mathematical Sciences.

Please join us as we celebrate some of our most recent college graduates who continue to amaze us with their persevering spirit. Through your continued generous giving, our staff's continued dedication, and our students’ adoption and motivation to live out eduKenya’s values and ethos, by God's grace, we will continue to see good fruit from our labor in Mathare, and in time, a community transformed.
