From the heart of Cool Springs to the heart of the Mathare slum. Join us in celebrating the completion of The Well's 77th Water Project with eduKenya—an evening of coffee, art, and live music!
At 6pm, walls will be filled with art from our Art Club in Kenya. Students have offered a glimpse of their hearts and contributed pieces as a way of raising funds for their school! The collection includes sketches of Kenya’s iconic landscape, hand-woven goods, and more!
Because of this partnership, a piece of land has become a farm with new staff housing, security measures, a water tower, and a solar-powered water pump. Our food costs will drop, be less reliant on the effects of international markets, and provide students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience. And that’s only the beginning.
To make the most of the evening, staff from the Well and eduKenya will share the story of how Project 77 came together, live music, and desserts generously provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes.
