Kwa Watoto Pre-Unit Class

The Pre-Unit (Kindergarten) Class has 23 students, ages 5-6 years. These little ones are excelling in their academic studies this year! In fact, 2013 student exam scores reveal Kwa Watoto School as one of the best primary schools in the region. These eager students are intent upon learning how to navigate the XO Laptop Computers donated to the school last year; they see it as a great adventure. This year the Pre-Unit class has a substitute teacher, Miss Ng’ang’a, who joined Kwa Watoto School in July 2013. Miss Ng’ang’a is fond of teaching mathematics and is focused on training the students to read and write. She makes every effort to ensure that each of her students is actively involved in the learning process. In addition to education, the children receive two nutritious meals each day, enrichment activities, and Christian nurture. Each child received a medical exam on February 3.Meet Nancy
