- Pray for our students and teachers who resumed school on May 6 after a short break. Pray for a smooth beginning to the term, renewed energy, and excitement to learn/teach.
- Pray for safe travels for students and teachers who must travel back to Nairobi for the new term and for the seventh grade students as they return to the boarding school in Chuka.
- The new term will include several interschool academic activities and intra-school co-curricular activities. Pray for the preparation of these activities, venues to hold the events, and that the children will benefit academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually from these experiences.
- The families of Kwa Watoto students struggle to meet their daily basic needs and overcome staggering challenges in their lives. Pray for employment for all parents.
- Pray that each child will receive adequate food and clothing at home, protection from harm, good health and a growing love for God.
- Demolition has begun on existing structures located on the building site for the new Kwa Watoto school building. Pray that we find a contractor to build the new school who is dependable, prompt and demands excellent construction standards.
- Praise God for the new eduKenya Community Support Ministry! (CSM) Ask God for the healing of CSM members who have life-threatening illnesses.
- Pray that the businesses of CSM members who received Kiva Loans will continue to flourish and members will pay back their loans in record time!
- Thank God that the students in the Hairdressing and Beauty Department of the Skills Training Program are well on their way to successfully completing program requirements! They are increasingly confident in their abilities as they learn multiple hairstyling techniques, the use of various types of salon equipment, and the application of different cosmetics.
- Praise God that the students in the Tailoring Department of the Skills Training Program completed Kwa Watoto student uniforms prior to the new term. Pray for renewed energy and commitment as they begin work on the boarding school uniforms.
