On Saturday, February 21, a team of 4 medical professionals, visited Mawewa School. The team, led by John Mungai, works with Partners for Health Development in Africa (PHDA). The health care team provided basic medical exams for all students and blood pressure checks for staff. Some children felt trepidation at first, but relaxed once they realized it would not hurt! Dental issues were the most common problem found and a few students need vision exams. Overall, the team pronounced the students in general good health.[caption id="attachment_2302" align="aligncenter" width="565"]
