Last year, a team from Christ Community Church, Boston visited eduKenya’s schools. Having been impacted by their close interactions with our students and their experiences in our classrooms, the church made a special donation to our Chelezo High School of a Smart Board.

Evan Kinyanjui, our ICT officer, set up the board, and. Ms. Okado, our Biology teacher was excited to test it out with her students. The Smart Board was a huge success in the classroom!

After using the Smart Board, Ms. Okado said, “We are so grateful for this gift. I was the first to test this device as I prepared for the Biology lesson. Today our learners were thrilled to attend the lessons in the lab. The Smart Board makes teaching both easy and interesting. I went to the Computer lab prior to the Biology lesson. I was able to search for the content needed for the lesson, download the videos and cue them for use when the time came. Learning objectives are being achieved with ease! We are truly grateful."
