Barbara Price-Martin serves as the Parish Associate Co-Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware.I met Adam Gould about five years ago, heard his story and was very touched by his heart for children living in the Mathare slum. The eduKenya team has been changing lives for years, one child, one family, one community at a time. They have taken a stand in the world, committed to making it a better place.I especially love that eduKenya is working toward sustainability through purchasing apartment buildings and using the rental income to support its programs. This is a brilliant model! I also love that eduKenya is assisting women in learning income generating skills to support themselves and their children.I don't want to talk about the problems in the world. Instead, I am committed to helping eduKenya because they have a plan for addressing the problems of poverty and hopelessness, and they have taken a stand to serve the least among us.
