Achievements and Upcoming Activities1. We are so pleased to report that our students performed well at the district music festival! As a result of their achievement, two groups of Kwa Watoto students will proceed to the Nairobi county music festival on June 10-15. Pray for the children to do well, have fun, and advance to the national competition!2. Students are preparing for an upcoming sports competition; please pray for fun and safety in the preparation and the event.Growth, Wisdom and Understanding3. Pray that the Kwa Watoto students will continue to understand and grow in God’s Word.4. Join us in praying for godly wisdom and patience for parents and teachers as they mentor, guide and instruct the students transitioning from childhood to adolescence.Building and Opportunity5. The preliminary construction progress on the new Kwa Watoto school site is going well; please pray that ongoing work proceeds smoothly. Pray for the integrity, safety and salvation of those participating in the construction.6. Praise God for the generosity of the Rotaract Club of USIU (United States International University Nairobi club, sponsored by the rotary club of Nairobi) that donated a posho mill to eduKenya. A posho mill pulverizes maize grain, the staple food in Kenya, into flour (unga). Pray that we find a skilled individual and entrepreneur to run the posho mill.
